Role Overview

We are looking for an execution-focused Operations Associate to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be on the ground managing daily data collection pipelines, supervising field operators and annotators, enforcing quality control processes, and tracking operational throughput.

This role requires a high bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to handle frontline operational challenges in a fast-paced technology startup.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Ground Execution: Coordinate daily physical data collection schedules involving motion capture, multi-view camera tracking, and sensor rigs. Ensure setup readiness and basic equipment calibration before daily sessions begin.
- Workforce & Vendor Coordination: Manage attendance, task allocations, and daily outputs for field operators, annotators, and third-party contributors. Assist in recording vendor deliverables and tracking milestone payments against agreed SLAs.
- Quality Assurance & SOP Compliance: Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) across collection pods. Perform first-pass data quality checks to identify capture issues, labeling gaps, or data anomalies before delivery to research teams.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain daily MIS reports, operational dashboards, and inventory logs using MS Excel and Google Sheets. Track throughput, turnaround time (TAT), and resource utilization to highlight bottlenecks to leadership.




- On-Ground Troubleshooting: Resolve real-time procedural and operational blockers to minimize collection downtime.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in startup operations, field operations, logistics, or tech-enabled delivery environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Engineering, Science, or Operations Management preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data tracking).
- Location & Availability: Must be currently based in Bengaluru (or able to relocate immediately) and able to work on-site full time.
- Core Competencies: Strong organization skills, process discipline, clear communication, and comfort working directly on the floor.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience with data labeling/annotation workflows, computer vision, robotics, or hardware sensor setups.
- Prior experience managing field staff, blue/grey-collar workforces, or vendor networks.

Schedule

- Day shift
