Job Summary





Chitkara International School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to provide individualized academic and behavioral support to students with special needs. The role involves closely working with students in the classroom environment to facilitate learning, inclusion, and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one support to assigned students during classroom activities.
- Support the student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with class teachers, special educators, and parents to monitor student progress.
- Adapt teaching materials and classroom strategies to meet the student’s unique learning needs.
- Encourage independence while ensuring a supportive and structured learning workplace.
- Maintain regular documentation and progress reports for the assigned student.
- Assist in behavior management and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom experience.

Qualifications & Skills

- Valid certification in Special Education (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach toward children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Good organizational and observation skills.
