Role Description The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of clinical procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments, and preventive dentistry. Daily responsibilities include consulting with patients, explaining treatment options, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The role involves working closely with the dental assistant and other staff to manage appointment flow and deliver a smooth patient experience.



The Dentist is expected to stay current with dental best practices and technologies and contribute to the clinic’s professional standards. This is a full-time, in office role based at House of Smiles by Dr. Tanvi in Umargam.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, basic endodontics, and preventive care.
- Candidates should possess skills in patient communication, including the ability to explain treatment options clearly, provide compassionate care, and build trust with diverse patient groups.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintaining clinical documentation, following infection control protocols, and adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in working collaboratively with dental assistants and clinic staff, managing time effectively, and handling a consistent patient load.
- Relevant qualifications include a recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent), valid dental council registration/license, and experience in a clinical dental setting; familiarity with local languages and prior work in a community-focused practice are beneficial.
