Role Description The Master Data Management (MDM) Developer will design, build, and maintain MDM solutions that ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data across core business systems. Day-to-day activities include implementing data models, configuring MDM workflows, integrating source systems, and developing services and APIs to share master data with downstream applications. The role involves collaborating closely with data architects, business analysts, and functional teams to understand data requirements, resolve data quality issues, and support governance and stewardship processes. The MDM Developer will also monitor system performance, implement enhancements, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to documentation and best practices.



This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong experience with Master Data Management platforms and concepts, including data modeling, hierarchy management, survivorship rules, and data governance.
- Proficiency in database technologies (such as SQL, relational databases, and performance optimization) and experience integrating data from multiple source systems.
- Hands-on skills in application development using relevant programming or scripting languages, APIs, and ETL/ELT tools for data integration.
- Knowledge of data quality techniques, profiling, cleansing, and metadata management to ensure accurate and consistent master data.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and integration patterns, such as web services, message queues, and batch interfaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing, consumer goods, or supply chain environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to secure, compliant, and ethical handling of data.
