Business Development Manager

Handoff is a fan-to-fan ticket marketplace built around identity, trust, escrow, and zero resale fees.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to build partnerships that grow supply, distribution, credibility, and user acquisition.

What you’ll own

- Build partnerships with fan communities, supporter groups, creators, venues, event organizers, travel/hospitality partners, sports organizations, and media
- Source ticket supply and partner relationships for major live events
- Identify distribution partners that can bring buyers and sellers onto Handoff
- Run outbound outreach, partnership calls, follow-ups, proposals, and negotiations
- Build relationships with organizations that strengthen trust and verification around ticket transactions
- Represent Handoff at events and in strategic industry conversations
- Maintain a structured BD pipeline and report weekly progress
- Work directly with the founder on high-leverage partnerships and market expansion

- New sources of verified ticket inventory
- Distribution partnerships that drive users
- Signed fan/community/creator partnerships
- Repeatable BD channels for major events
- Transparent pipeline from outreach → meeting → proposal → close

Who we want
- 2+ years in BD, partnerships, sales, sponsorships, ticketing, sports, entertainment, or adjacent sectors
- Strong communicator and confident on calls
- High ownership and relentless follow-through
- Comfortable with cold outreach
- Commercially sharp and able to structure win-win deals
- Understands consumer marketplaces and network effects
- Sports / live-events / ticketing network is a major plus

Bonus points
- Experience with ticketing, sports, concerts, festivals, or creator partnerships
- Existing relationships with supporter groups, promoters, venues, or sports organizations
- Experience building partnerships from zero at an early-stage startup
