Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The cashier handles guest payments, answers menu inquiries, takes orders, and ensures a smooth, welcoming front-of-house experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, take dine-in or takeout orders, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or daily promotions.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit, debit, and mobile wallet transactions accurately using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Issue correct change and printed or digital receipts.
- Drawer Management: Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of every shift, reporting or reconciling any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Coordination: Communicate guest preferences or special dietary requests clearly to kitchen and wait staff,



and assist with packing takeout or delivery orders
- Station Maintenance: Keep the front counter, register area, and customer-facing zones clean, sanitized, and stocked with napkins, utensils, and menus.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern POS systems (such as Toast, Square, or Clover) and basic mathematics for rapid cash handling.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication, patience, and a customer-first attitude in a quick-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift light supplies or restock front-of-house item
