About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC/VMC Setter cum Operator and Programmer to join our unit in Peenya. You will set up machines, write and edit programs, and run production to the required quality and quantity.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up CNC and VMC machines as per drawing, including fixtures, tools, offsets and work coordinates.
- Write, edit and optimize CNC programs (G-code and M-code) for milling and turning jobs.
- Operate CNC/VMC machines and run first-piece trials and proving runs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T; and tolerances.
- Select the right cutting tools, inserts, speeds and feeds for each job.
- Check dimensions with vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge and similar instruments.
- Reduce cycle time, tool wastage and rejections.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance, lubrication and housekeeping (5S).
- Train and guide helpers and junior operators.




- Maintain production and tool-life records.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with VMC and CNC lathe setting.
- Programming knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi controllers.
- CAM software knowledge (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM or similar) is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of fixtures, work holding and tooling.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Basic knowledge of Kannada, Hindi or English for communication.
- Candidates living near Peenya, Jalahalli, Yeshwanthpur, Nelamangala or Dasarahalli are preferred.
