QC WELDING INSPECTOR
- Education : Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical field (typically 5 to 7+ years of total experience).
- Aramco Approval : Valid Saudi Aramco Approval / SAP Number with a passed Aramco CBT welding examination.
- Primary Welding Certifications : Valid AWS-QC1 CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 (Certified Welding Inspector).
- NDT Qualifications : Level II certification in standard methods such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
Technical Knowledge : Deep familiarity with WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) review, code compliance (ASME, AWS), and materials like Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Super Duplex.
