Location:
Remote, India Employment type: Full-time Compensation: INR 25L – 30L About AVRL AVRL is one of the most well-known freight technology companies in the US market. We provide high-level advisory that helps 3PLs and truck brokerages scale their operations through automated pricing models. We’re a high-velocity team spread across multiple countries. This role sits at the intersection of pricing expertise and customer advisory: you’ll help customers understand what their data is telling them, what actions to take, and how to improve performance in changing freight markets.

About the Role
You’ve spent years setting prices, protecting margins and building the analysis behind pricing decisions. At AVRL, you’ll bring that expertise directly to our customers. US freight brokerages and 3PLs rely on us to tell them how to price, where they’re losing margin, and what to change. You’ll own those recommendations, present them, and see them through. You don’t need freight experience; what we need is someone who already thinks like a pricing professional and can explain their reasoning with confidence. What You’ll Do
• Advise a portfolio of US brokerage and 3PL customers. You’ll review their quoting, win/loss and margin data, diagnose where pricing is costing them, and recommend specific changes.
• Lead customer consulting calls. You’ll present findings, answer tough questions, and build trust with operators and executives.
• Translate freight market movements (rate trends, capacity shifts, lane-level patterns) into concrete pricing actions.
• Build playbooks that turn what works for one customer into a repeatable method for others.

• Feed insights back to AVRL’s team to improve our pricing models and customer process.
• Become a recognized expert on US freight pricing. What We’re Looking For
• 4+ years of professional experience, with hands-on responsibility for commercial pricing, pricing analysis, deal pricing, revenue optimization or margin management. Experience developing and presenting pricing recommendations is particularly valuable.
• Demonstrated experience in pricing activities such as price setting and quoting, contract and customer pricing, price revisions, margin and impact analysis, competitive pricing, discount and rebate strategy, or preventing price leakage.
• Experience presenting recommendations to, and negotiating with, sales leaders, customers or senior stakeholders. Experience supporting North American or global businesses is a robust plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English. You’ll be on calls with US customers and writing recommendations they will act on.
• Advanced Excel skills. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and pricing, ERP or CRM systems
• Availability for regular overlap with US Central Time business hours (Indian evenings/nights) for customer calls and team meetings.
• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Commerce or an MBA is preferred. Strong Pluses
• SQL or Python
• Revenue management or dynamic pricing experience (airlines, hospitality, e-commerce, retail) Is this right for you? This is an advisory role, not a price maintenance role. If you’d rather process pricing requests and maintain price files than recommend and defend pricing decisions to customers, this isn’t the right fit.
