Role Description The Principal role at Prayaas Enrich Empower Evolve is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Principal is responsible for leading the academic and administrative operations of the institution, including setting a clear vision, aligning staff and resources with that vision, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising faculty and staff, overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring student outcomes, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging campus environment.

The Principal collaborates with the leadership team to design and execute initiatives that enrich, empower, and evolve educational practices,



and works closely with families and community partners to strengthen relationships and support student success. The role also involves compliance with regulatory requirements, effective budget and resource management, and ongoing improvement of processes and policies.

Qualifications

- A proven track record in CBSE school as a Principal, Vice Principal, or similar role.
- Strong skills in educational administration, including planning, organization, policy implementation, and resource management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, foster collaboration, and build an inclusive, learner-centered culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, families, and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing change initiatives, driving innovation in education, and supporting mindset shifts among educators and learners.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including handling complex situations with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a Master’s degree in Education or a related field; B.Ed from a recognised university, additional leadership or management certifications are an advantage.
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to educational institutions and commitment to ethical, compliant practices
