Position Summary The Core Windows Support Team within Client will be responsible for administering TIAA's Windows servers which consist of Windows 2012, Windows 2016, and Windows 2019 Servers. The candidate will be expected to monitor our ServiceNow queue and remediate Windows tasks, incidents, and changes in a timely manner.

Shift requirement - Monday to Friday 2nd Shift ( 2 to 11 PM IST)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

· Monitor everyday systems and evaluate availability of all server resources and perform all activities for Windows servers.

· Strong trouble shooting skills, ability to debug OS and hardware issues .

· Solid Production support exposure in dealing with live issues, working under pressure, experience on high end and low latency servers.

· Ability to collaborate and drive troubleshooting sessions with other infrastructure and Application Development teams.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using technical abilities and tools.

· Demonstrates high responsiveness for technology issues; resolves issues quickly and efficiently.

· Conduct proactive analysis to determine if systems are performing optimally.

· Drives problems to root cause analysis through partnership with Application Development and engineers, ensuring knowledge is captured for future events.

· Provides 24X7 on call support to restore failed core infrastructure components, utilizing support tools and vendor support.





· Provides business continuity and disaster recovery support by testing, reviewing, and supporting disaster recovery plans on a routine basis.

· Perform daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, server systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs etc.

Required Skills

· Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Windows system administrator managing servers in an enterprise environment.

· Experienced as a system administrator installing, configuring, and updating Windows OS, AWS, Public Cloud.

· Experience in PowerShell shell scripting or other programming languages.

· Experience with Dell and HPE Server Hardware.

Preferred Skills

· Familiar with VMWare, NetApp NAS/SAN, Network.

· Familiar with and able to use Enterprise Management tools such as BigFix, MECM, SCOM.

· Experience in LDAP / Active Directory Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication protocols, IIS, Clustering, DFS, PKI.

· Experience in supporting solution in Private Cloud, Public Cloud or Hybrid Cloud Environment, AWS, Azure, GCP.

· Experience with Gitlab, Confluence.

· Certification - Microsoft, AWS, Azure, or any public cloud certification.
