About the Role

Convertec is looking for a highly skilled, results-driven SEO Specialist / SEO Expert with extensive hands-on experience in Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Local SEO, and SEO Strategy.

We're looking for someone who can independently manage SEO campaigns, solve complex technical challenges, implement effective strategies, and deliver measurable improvements in organic traffic, search visibility, and conversions.

? Key Responsibilities

✅ Technical SEO

- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits.
- Resolve crawling, indexing, rendering, and website architecture issues.
- Optimise Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance.
- Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, and schema markup.
- Implement technical SEO improvements in collaboration with developers.

✅ On-Page SEO

- Perform advanced keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Develop keyword strategies and conduct keyword mapping.
- Optimise metadata, headings, URLs, and website content.
- Improve internal linking, content structure, and search intent alignment.
- Optimise landing pages, service pages, and product pages.

✅ Off-Page SEO

- Develop and execute ethical link-building strategies.
- Conduct backlink audits and competitor backlink analysis.
- Identify high-quality link acquisition opportunities.
- Manage outreach, guest contributions, and editorial placements.
- Monitor backlink quality and referring domains.

✅ Local SEO

- Optimise and manage Google Business Profiles.
- Implement local keyword and location-page strategies.
- Improve local search visibility and Google Maps performance.
- Manage local citations and business information consistency.

✅ SEO Content Strategy

- Develop SEO-focused content strategies.
- Conduct content gap analysis.
- Prepare detailed SEO content briefs.
- Review and optimise blogs, website copy, and landing pages.




- Write or rewrite SEO-friendly content when required.

✅ E-commerce & International SEO

- Optimise WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Manage product, category, and collection-page SEO.
- Address common e-commerce technical SEO challenges.
- Understand international SEO, hreflang, and multilingual optimisation.
- Stay updated with AI Overviews and evolving search technologies.

✅ Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console and GA4.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports.
- Identify performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Manage SEO tasks and documentation in ClickUp.

? Required Skills & Expertise

✔ 4–5+ years of practical SEO experience.

✔ Advanced expertise in Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page SEO.

✔ Proficiency in Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and GA4.

✔ Robust understanding of crawling, indexing, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.

✔ Hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify SEO.

✔ Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO.

✔ Experience managing multiple SEO projects independently.

✔ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

✔ Excellent understanding of SEO content writing and optimisation.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of improving organic traffic and conversions.
- Hands-on SEO content writing experience.
- Experience with international and e-commerce SEO.
- Relevant SEO or Google Analytics certifications.
