Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor L1 & L2 engineers team
• Manage day-to-day configuration, administration, and monitoring of network security infrastructure in a 24/7 environment
• Investigate, isolate, and resolve PROXY incidents with RCA and ensure ticket closure within SLA
• Commission, implement, and integrate PROXY solutions with AD, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, and email tools
• Conduct daily performance checks, periodic audits, and compliance patch updates
• Coordinate with OEMs for TAC support, RMA, and reconfiguration of PROXY
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, run books, and as-built network diagrams
• Troubleshoot layers 1 through 7 of the OSI Model and conduct packet analysis using Wireshark/Pcap
• Design and implement PROXY solutions for DC/DR/Cloud and branch office environments
• This is a third-party payroll role under Commedia, based at the client location (IDFC Bank)
• The working location is Airioli, Navi Mumbai
• Candidates will support banking environments and must be comfortable working in a 24/7 environment
• Outstation candidates are allowed if willing to relocate Ideal Candidate
• Robust Proxy / Network Security Profile with hands-on troubleshooting and policy-management depth
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Proxy solutions (Netskope, McAfee, or equivalent), with strong product knowledge and proficiency across proxy management consoles.
• Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience commissioning and implementing Proxy solutions, integrating with management and authentication / authorization tools (email, AD, IAM, SIEM), and designing/deploying Proxy solutions and security policies for DC / DR / Cloud and branch-office environments.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have experience across Windows / Linux / Unix, hands-on packet capture and analysis (Wireshark / pcap),



and troubleshooting across OSI Layers 1–7.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have experience managing policies and exceptions, and incident / problem / service-request / change / configuration / capacity management, using network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation.
• Mandatory (Tech skill 3): Must have experience automating and integrating tools via scripting / SOAR and REST API / SDK with security dashboards and Infosec tools (AD, IDAM, PAM, SIEM, SOAR).
• Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have experience investigating, isolating, and resolving Proxy incidents with RCA, coordinating helpdesk / IT / application teams on high-severity incidents, and ensuring ticket closure within SLA with SLA reporting.
• Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have OEM coordination experience (TAC, RMA, replacement, reconfiguration), patch updates / upgrades per bank compliance and audit requirements, timely closure of compliance / audit points, daily performance checks, and periodic audits.
• Mandatory (Skill): Must be able to create technical documentation, as-built diagrams, inventory / security documentation, SOPs / runbooks, and maintain the ITSM knowledge base.
• Mandatory (Leadership): Must be able to lead and mentor L1 and L2 engineers.
• Mandatory (Communication): Must be comfortable reading packet captures (Wireshark/pcap), with excellent verbal and written communication, strong ownership, and a demonstrated ability to solve complex issues under pressure.
• Mandatory (Domain): Banking-industry experience preferred; strong candidates with the same technical experience from another industry are acceptable.
• Mandatory (Note): Must be comfortable with a 24/7 NOC rotational shift environment at the client site (IDFC Bank, Airoli, Navi Mumbai), able to work in a fast-paced
• Preferred (Certification): Product certification in Netskope or McAfee Proxy.
