Role Description The Legal Manager role at Mintifi is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Legal Manager will oversee day-to-day legal operations, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to financing and partnerships. This role involves ensuring regulatory and legal compliance across products and processes, coordinating with external counsel when required, and managing legal risk and dispute resolution. The Legal Manager will collaborate closely with business,



credit, risk, and operations teams to provide legal guidance on new products, policies, and complex transactions. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, implementing best practices in legal governance, and supporting internal training and documentation. Qualifications
• Robust foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience applying legal principles in financial services or related sectors.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and policy documents.
• Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical advice to internal stakeholders on transactions, products, and operations.
• Expertise in Legal Compliance, with the ability to interpret and implement applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Capability to manage Legal Affairs, including contract management, dispute resolution support, and coordination with external counsel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); advanced legal qualifications or specialization in banking/finance law are an advantage.
• Prior experience in NBFCs, banks, fintech, or financial services organizations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple matters simultaneously, and maintain high ethical standards.
