Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role is a remote contract position focused on supporting the development of Constraal’s intelligent home and robotics platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to software features, implementing and testing backend services, and writing clean, maintainable code under guidance from senior engineers. The intern will assist with debugging and performance optimization, participate in code reviews,



and help integrate software components with hardware and embedded systems. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional team members, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in modern software development and deployment. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic systems concepts.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, using languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in practical projects.
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks, is preferred.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and team-oriented development workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with a distributed team.
• Interest in robotics, embedded systems, or smart home technologies is highly beneficial; prior project or internship experience is a plus.
