ARC Advisory Group is seeking a practical, service-oriented Microsoft IT professional in Bangalore to support employees, strengthen security, and continuously improve our Microsoft cloud environment.

About the Role
This position combines day-to-day user support with hands-on administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, endpoint management, security, compliance, and related services. The successful candidate will be comfortable resolving employee issues, managing cloud services, improving security controls, documenting the environment, and identifying opportunities to simplify operations and reduce unnecessary cost. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys both helping users and taking ownership of the underlying Microsoft infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide responsive IT support to employees, including troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows, devices, access, email, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and related business applications.
• Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure portal, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, licenses, roles, multifactor authentication, access policies, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Administer Microsoft Intune and endpoint policies, including device enrollment, configuration, compliance, application deployment, and security baselines.
• Monitor and improve Microsoft Defender capabilities across identities, endpoints, email, and cloud applications; investigate alerts and coordinate remediation.




• Support Microsoft Purview capabilities such as data protection, retention, compliance, audit, and information governance.
• Review Azure resources, subscriptions, permissions, security settings, usage, and costs; recommend practical improvements and eliminate unnecessary services.
• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, licenses, procedures, vendors, incidents, and recovery processes.
• Work with Microsoft support and external vendors when issues require escalation, and follow problems through to resolution.
• Identify recurring support issues and introduce automation, self-service guidance, standardization, or training to reduce them. What We Are Looking For
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows users in a business environment.
• Working knowledge of Azure administration, Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, and role-based permissions.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, endpoint security, multifactor authentication, and conditional access.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, data protection, retention, auditing, compliance, or information governance.




• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose issues methodically across users, devices, applications, identity, and cloud services.
• Clear written and spoken English, robust documentation habits, and a patient, service-oriented approach when assisting employees.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize issues, protect confidential information, and take ownership from initial report through resolution. Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, security, identity, endpoint administration, or related areas.
• Experience with PowerShell, Power Automate, scripting, or other methods of automating routine administration and reporting.
• Experience supporting a distributed international organization and working with users across multiple time zones.
