Position: Oracle RMS Consultant Experience Level: 5 – 7 Years

India (Remote / Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days (Preferred) Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Oracle RMS Consultant (5–7 years experience) to support our US-based retail client. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional/technical expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), solid experience in the retail domain, and excellent communication skills to collaborate directly with US business stakeholders and cross-vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, test, and support Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) solutions aligned with retail business workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between Oracle RMS and third-party systems (WMS, POS, Finance, E-commerce, Supply Chain).
• Work seamlessly alongside internal teams, third-party vendor teams, and client stakeholders in a multi-vendor delivery environment.
• Analyze complex issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and deliver timely resolutions for critical production issues during US overlap hours.




• Gather business requirements, prepare functional/technical design specifications, and present technical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders.
• Oversee daily/nightly batch process runs, SQL/PL-SQL procedures, Pro*C programs, and Oracle Forms/Reports. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle RMS (Oracle Retail Merchandising System) within the Retail domain.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, UNIX Shell Scripting, and Batch Processing.
• Solid grasp of core retail processes—Item Master, Merchandising Hierarchy, Purchase Orders, Inventory Management, Deals, Price Management, and Costing.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills suitable for direct US client interactions. Preferred Qualifications
• Prior exposure to related Oracle Retail modules (ReSA, RPM, ReIM, RA) is a strong plus.
• Prior experience working with major US retail enterprise clients.
• Proven track record of working in a multi-vendor project structure.
