Summary: Produce accurate, site-ready MEP drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical services, from tender stage through shop drawings and as-builts. Responsibilities
• Draft HVAC layouts: ducting with sizes, diffusers and grilles, refrigerant and drain piping, equipment layouts, sections
• Draft electrical layouts: lighting and power points, cable trays and routes, DB and panel locations, single-line diagrams
• Draft plumbing and mechanical layouts: water supply, drainage, pump rooms, risers
• Coordinate services to explicit clashes with structure, ceilings and each other
• Turn engineer markups and site measurements into shop drawings; keep revisions and transmittals in order
• Prepare as-built drawings at handover
• Extract quantities for BOQs when asked Essential

qualifications:
Diploma or ITI (draughtsman, mechanical, electrical or civil), or a degree in a related field.



Training alone is not enough; we test drawing ability directly.

Experience:
2–5 years drafting MEP services in a contractor or consultant office Technical competencies: AutoCAD 2D (layers, xrefs, blocks, dimension and plot styles, layouts at correct scale); reading architectural and structural drawings; MEP symbols and conventions; duct and pipe sizing as given by engineers. Desirable

skills:
Revit MEP or other BIM tools; fire-fighting layouts; experience with hotel, hospital or commercial projects; Excel for quantity take-off.
