The platform delivers a gamified, quiz-first experience that tests deep knowledge of African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to make learning culturally immersive, engaging, and accessible. The team is passionate about preserving and celebrating African heritage through innovative digital experiences. Role Description The Lead Graphic Designer is a full-time remote role responsible for owning the visual identity of Superfan.ng across product, marketing, and brand touchpoints. This role involves designing graphics for the app and web experiences, creating marketing assets, and ensuring consistent visual branding across all channels. The Lead Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with product, content, and marketing teams to translate learning concepts into engaging, culturally resonant visuals. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, creating and refining logos and icons, selecting and applying typography, preparing assets for development, and maintaining a cohesive design system.



The role also includes mentoring other designers or collaborators, managing design timelines, and contributing to creative strategy for campaigns and product features. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio showcasing digital product and marketing work.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating and evolving visual identities.
• Proficiency in Typography and layout, with the ability to design for readability and cultural nuance.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent).
• Experience designing for mobile apps, web interfaces, and social media campaigns.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with openness to feedback and iterative design.
• Familiarity with or interest in African languages and cultures is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education or equivalent skilled experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
