Responsibilities:
• Design railway telecom subsystems, including backbone and networking systems, in line with customer, operational, and functional requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and close telecom design documents with customers and project stakeholders.
• Participate in customer technical workshops and support resolution of design comments and interface issues.
• Define and manage interfaces between telecom systems, railway signaling, rolling stock, and other railway subsystems.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors, and provide technical support to testing and commissioning teams. Skills Required:
• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably as an independent contributor in railway telecom or IT and telecom systems.




• Hands-on experience with telecom and networking system design in railway or transportation projects.
• Understanding of railway systems, railway signaling, and telecom operations.
• Experience in Fiber Optic Transmission Systems (FOTS), including telecom transmission design and implementation.
• Knowledge of backbone networking, including network architecture, connectivity, and integration.
• Experience in telecom network design, including system architecture, network planning, and interface definition.
• Experience developing telecom interfaces with signaling, rolling stock, and related railway systems.
• Ability to produce engineering design documentation, support technical reviews, and drive customer approvals. Valuable to Have:
• Experience with Fiber Channel.

Education:
B.
Tech degree in any engineering branch.
