Role Description The Sr. Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for leading and performing maintenance activities on production equipment and facility systems at Western Sealtech’s on-site location in Breda. This full-time role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, executing repairs, and driving preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and equipment reliability. The Sr. Maintenance Engineer will develop maintenance plans, track maintenance records, coordinate spare parts, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and safety initiatives. The role also involves mentoring maintenance staff,



supporting equipment installations and modifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures. This position requires hands-on work on the shop floor and close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications
• Strong background in Maintenance Engineering, including experience with equipment maintenance strategies and reliability improvement.
• Demonstrated skills in Maintenance & Repair for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, component replacement, and root cause analysis.
• Experience implementing and managing Preventive Maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance, including reading schematics, working with control panels, and ensuring safe electrical practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally with complex equipment or process systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and best practices in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians, with robust communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort using CMMS or similar maintenance management tools, and interpreting technical documentation and manuals.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in Breda in a hands-on engineering role.
