Role Description The Relationship Officer role at Fusion Finance Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Motihari.

The Relationship

Officer will manage and grow customer relationships, focusing on underserved communities and small businesses, while promoting Fusion’s financial products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying prospective clients, explaining product features and benefits, supporting loan application processes, and ensuring timely repayment through regular follow-ups. The role also involves providing high-quality customer service, resolving queries, maintaining accurate records, and gathering feedback from clients to improve service delivery.

Officer will collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets, uphold compliance standards, and contribute to Fusion’s mission of financial empowerment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client partnerships.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge, particularly in microfinance and small business lending, to explain products and assess customer needs.
- Candidates should possess explicit and effective Communication skills, including the ability to present information in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and problem-solving for diverse client profiles.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead generation, converting prospects, and achieving assigned targets ethically.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with local markets in and around Motihari, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work in the field as required.
