Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in coordination with Purchase and other concerned departments. Conduct supplier process audits and assess manufacturing capability, quality systems, and process controls.

Coordinate sample inspection, testing, and validation before approving new suppliers or components for regular supply.Monitor supplier quality performance, incoming rejection trends, and recurring defects.

Coordinate with suppliers to investigate quality issues and obtain root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action reports.

Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions through evidence, sample validation, follow-up audits, and subsequent lot performance.

Maintain supplier audit reports, qualification records, CAPA records, and approved supplier lists.

Prepare supplier scorecards and track supplier rejection rates, PPM, audit findings, and corrective action closure.

Work closely with IQC, Purchase, Production,



R&D;, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.

Ensure supplier quality activities comply with the Quality Management System and applicable quality standards.

Requirements

Required Skills

Supplier qualification and supplier process audit

Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram)

8D / G8D problem-solving and CAPA

Knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and electrical components

Understanding of incoming inspection, sampling plans, and inspection reports

MS Office, especially Excel, and quality report preparation

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or a related electronics discipline.
