Finance | Commercial Finance Business Partnering

Role Overview

As an FP&A; Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Business Partnering team. Your primary responsibility is to execute operational tasks arising from the Finance Business Partner’s analysis, investigate discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust financial processes.

You will act as a key point of contact for resolving issues, maintaining data accuracy, and driving process improvements. You will support the Finance Business Partner in closing, reporting, budgeting, and financial studies/projects, while contributing to the financial support of regional Sales and Marketing teams.

External: Auditors; ERP/Accounting System Vendors; Regional Business Stakeholders.

Commercial Finance Business Partner Support

Follow up on finance actions in relation to the Commercial teams.

Support management and configuration in SAP, including the establishment and monitoring of provisions and payments.

Support Sales and Margin Management and Fixed Costs for Sales and Marketing, including forecasts and budgets.

Support financial close activities, including analysis and provisions.

Participate in monthly sales performance meetings.

Data Accuracy and Process Execution

Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies identified by the Finance Business Partner.





Implement corrective actions and update processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting Support

Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for month-end and review meetings.

Support the development and updating of dashboards for Sales and Marketing teams using analysis tools, SAP and Power BI.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Systems

Work with internal teams to resolve issues and improve financial processes.

Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and support compliance with relevant requirements.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Quality, Safety and Continuous Improvement

Adhere to the applicable Quality Policy and processes within the quality management system.

Support compliance with internal quality standards and relevant industry requirements.

Participate in continuous improvement activities and help ensure quality and compliance requirements are met.

Follow workplace health and safety requirements, report potential hazards, and participate in required training and safety initiatives.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Master’s degree in Finance or Economics.

At least 5 years of finance experience as a Controller or Financial Analyst in a multinational environment.

Experience with accounting processes and systems.

Experience in commercial finance or similar roles.

Completion of an accounting qualification or apprenticeship is desirable.

Technical and Functional Skills

Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Financial analysis and the ability to interpret and evaluate financial data.

Financial planning and analysis systems to support data analysis and decision-making.

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Reporting skills,



including the ability to gather, interpret and present clear, concise and relevant information on time.

Understanding of budgeting and financial resource planning.

Digital literacy, including tools such as Power BI and SAP.

Exposure to variance analysis and process improvement.

Language

English proficiency is required.
