Role - Embedded C/C++ Developer – Vehicle OTA / Connected Vehicle

Location: Pune Experience: 4–8 years Domain: Automotive | Connected Vehicle | OTA

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and integrate vehicle-side OTA client software using C/C++.
- Implement OTA flows covering update retrieval, package download, verification, installation and result reporting.
- Develop/integrate UDS-based ECU flashing over CAN/CAN-FD.
- Support primary and secondary ECU update handling and ECU-specific update adapters.
- Implement ECU/HW/SW compatibility checks before software installation.
- Implement vehicle precondition/policy checks before starting an update.
- Develop persistent update state-machine handling across application restart/vehicle reboot.
- Handle network interruptions, update failures, retry, recovery and rollback scenarios.
- Support ECU/vehicle integration, debugging, unit testing and bench validation.

We are specifically looking for a hands-on software developer capable of designing and implementing embedded C/C++ software for vehicle-side update management. Candidates with experience in OTA/FOTA, TCU/Gateway software, UDS flashing, Embedded Linux or Uptane/TUF will be highly relevant. Profiles primarily limited to AUTOSAR configuration, ARXML generation, DEM/DCM configuration or diagnostic testing without substantial C/C++ development experience may not be suitable.
