Role Description The Commi 1 role at Eva Hospitality is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The Commi 1 will assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, basic cooking, and plating according to established recipes and standards. This role supports senior chefs in maintaining hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization, while ensuring that traditional Maharashtrian dishes and festive menus are executed accurately.

The Commi 1 will help with stock rotation, mise en place,



and cleaning of workstations, and may be involved in occasional special events and peak service hours. Collaboration with the kitchen team and adherence to company policies and service standards are essential.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine; familiarity with Maharashtrian dishes and traditional cooking methods is an advantage.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and instructions from senior chefs.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and festive occasions.
- Relevant culinary certification or diploma is beneficial, though not mandatory.
