Role Description This is a full time, on-site Bartender role based at Madwater Brewery in Mumbai. The Bartender will welcome guests, present the beer menu, provide recommendations, and serve a variety of Madwater brews and other beverages with consistent quality and presentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and pouring drinks, maintaining bar cleanliness and organization, managing stock levels, and ensuring that glassware and equipment are sanitized.

The role involves accurate cash handling and use of POS systems, processing payments, and issuing receipts.



The Bartender will also support a positive guest experience by engaging with patrons, sharing product knowledge, following safety and responsible service guidelines, and collaborating with the taproom and kitchen teams during regular service and events.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, inclusive guest experiences.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, preferably with experience in craft beer or brewery environments.
- Demonstrated Bartending skills, including pouring, mixing basic drinks, and maintaining bar standards.
- Reliable Cash Handling abilities, including operating POS systems and reconciling transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in a bar, taproom, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work evening and weekend shifts, and handle a fast-paced environment safely.
- Interest in craft beer, willingness to learn Madwater’s product range, and commitment to responsible service practices.
