Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Pharmacist to join our team at Achievers Spot, Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on the proper use of medicines, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and ensuring compliance with medication safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications accurately according to valid prescriptions and physician instructions.
Review prescriptions for correct medication, dosage, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.
Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, precautions, and possible side effects.
Monitor patient responses to medications and communicate concerns to relevant healthcare professionals.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and track batch numbers and expiry dates.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of medicines.




Maintain accurate records of medicines received, dispensed, and returned.
Follow pharmacy regulations, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm) or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Valid pharmacy registration, as applicable to the role.
Valuable communication and patient-counseling skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
Basic knowledge of medicines, dosages, drug interactions, and pharmacy procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Willingness to learn and work in a full time position.

Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary: 20,000–22,000.
