Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The Senior Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising cycle, including product development, sampling, pricing, order confirmation, and coordination with production and quality teams. Responsibilities include working closely with international and domestic buyers, understanding customer requirements, preparing costings, and ensuring that orders meet specifications, timelines, and compliance standards. The role will involve tracking order status, resolving issues,



collaborating with design and marketing teams on assortments, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

The Senior Merchandiser is expected to build strong customer relationships, support sales initiatives, and contribute to category growth and process improvement.

Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including explicit written and verbal correspondence with buyers and internal teams.
Proven experience in textile merchandising, ideally in home textiles, with knowledge of export processes.
Ability to coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams, and manage multiple orders and timelines.
Robust analytical, negotiation, and Excel/reporting skills for costing, margin analysis, and order tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or a related field; advanced merchandising or textile qualifications are an advantage.
