About the opportunity:

Our client, a leading professional services firm specializing in audit, assurance, tax, and advisory services, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.

The successful candidate will take ownership of engagement planning and delivery, lead and develop audit teams, maintain robust client relationships, and ensure work meets professional and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver audit engagements from planning through completion.
Lead, coach, and supervise audit teams, supporting the development of junior staff.
Manage engagement timelines, budgets, resources, and profitability.
Review audit work and resolve complex accounting and audit issues.
Ensure audit engagements comply with applicable auditing standards, IFRS, IAS, and firm methodology.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Communicate significant audit findings, risks,



and recommendations to clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor engagement quality and ensure reports and supporting documentation are completed to a high standard.
Identify prospects to support clients and contribute to the firm’s business growth.

Requirements and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification will be an advantage
Significant experience in external or public auditing, preferably with a professional services firm.
Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
Solid knowledge of IFRS, IAS, auditing standards, and audit best practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, client service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and deliver quality work.
