Required Skills and Experience
7+ years software development or data engineering experience.
Proficiency with Python, including workplace and dependency management and web application frameworks.
Qualified experience developing, deploying, and maintaining webapps, and with relational databases, including schema design and migrations.
Conduct in depth code reviews, including source code, tests, and documentation.
Practical exposure to developing agentic systems, such as RAG pipelines, chatbots, or LLM orchestrators.

Preferred Skills and Experience
5+ years with Python web frameworks, especially FastAPI+SQLAlchemy or Django.
PostgreSQL and its ecosystem of extensions, especially pgvector or TimescaleDB.
Cloud native application development, especially using Azure.
Previous qualified experience working with financial documents.
Responsible use of AI assistants to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation tasks.
