Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur for a 3D Modeling & Drafting professional. The role involves creating accurate 3D models and 2D general arrangement (GA), shop, and fabrication drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or MBS. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering and architectural inputs, preparing detailed steel and structural layouts, and updating drawings based on review comments or field changes. The team member will coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to resolve design issues, ensure drawings are transparent and buildable,



and maintain organized drawing and model files. The role also includes checking work for dimensional accuracy, adherence to standards, and readiness for production or site use.
Qualifications
Ability to build accurate 3D models and 2D GA, shop, and fabrication drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or MBS.
Strong understanding of structural and fabrication detailing, including steel connections, assemblies, and construction drawing standards.
Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Attention to detail, quality-focused checking of models and drawings, and ability to follow established drafting standards.
Good communication skills and capacity to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams on-site.
Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Diploma or degree in civil, structural, mechanical engineering, or a related drafting discipline is preferred.
Prior experience in structural steel or fabrication detailing, especially in an on-site or office-based drafting workplace, is an advantage.
