Role Description The Nursery Teacher (NTT) at Delhi International School Edge will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that foster early literacy, numeracy, and social skills in young learners. Daily responsibilities include creating engaging classroom activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, observing and documenting student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support each child’s development. The role involves regular communication with parents and guardians, participation in school events,



and collaboration with fellow teachers to align curriculum and teaching practices. This is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India, requiring consistent classroom presence and active involvement in the school’s day-to-day operations.

Qualifications
Recognized Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) certification or equivalent early childhood education qualification.
Proven ability to design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities for early learners.
Strong classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach, with a genuine interest in early childhood development.
Comfort with basic educational technology and learning aids used in early years classrooms.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team and participate in school events and professional development.
Prior experience in a pre-primary or primary school setting in a similar role is preferred.
