Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer - ETD Seals group is responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of sealing technologies supporting SLB/Cameron products and applications. The role involves seal design, material selection, test fixture development, validation testing, and technology development activities to deliver reliable and cost-effective sealing solutions. The engineer will work closely with global product teams, suppliers, technicians, and university research partners while providing subject matter expertise (SME) on sealing technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop sealing solutions for recent and existing products.
Design and support testing fixtures, test methods, and validation programs.
Perform seal selection, material evaluation, and failure analysis.




Lead and participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and risk assessments.
Support product validation, qualification testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on technology development initiatives.
Apply industry standards (API, ISO, etc.) in seal design and qualification.
Utilize engineering analysis and simulation tools to support design decisions.
Develop and improve engineering design tools, workflows, and digital solutions.
Manage and guide university students, technicians, and external research activities supporting SLB projects.
