Role Description The Site Civil Engineer role at Navkar Metals is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves supervising civil works on construction sites, including layout, execution, and quality control of structural and infrastructure components. The Site Civil Engineer will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure work is completed according to design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings, preparing work plans, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and maintaining site documentation and reports.



The role also requires regular inspections, adherence to compliance standards, and proactive communication about site conditions, risks, and resource needs.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering fundamentals and applied skills, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering knowledge.
Planning skills for site activities, resource allocation, scheduling, and project coordination.
Experience or understanding in Stormwater Management and related drainage or infrastructure systems.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
Robust problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage field conditions, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Familiarity with basic engineering software and MS Office tools; experience with CAD software is an advantage.
