JOB DESCRIPTION: QUALITY CONTROL CHEMIST

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Conduct laboratory analysis using standard testing procedures and approved methods.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
Identify deviations in test results and report non-conformities to the concerned department.




Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, chemical storage, and protected handling practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, BE / B.tech / M.tech or a related discipline.
Candidates with relevant laboratory experience in a manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Valuable knowledge of chemical analysis, sampling techniques, and laboratory testing procedures.
Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
Knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling, and documentation practices.
Ability to analyze test results and prepare accurate reports.
Good observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
