Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, and project-related materials for EPC projects.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Coordinate with the Project, Design, Store, and Accounts departments for material requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites as per project schedules.
Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and pending deliveries.
Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotation files, and procurement reports.
Verify material specifications, quality requirements, and approved technical documents before placing orders.
Monitor purchase costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding vendor bills, payments, and outstanding balances.
Handle vendor-related issues,



material shortages, and delivery delays.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.

Required Skills
Knowledge of EPC procurement and purchasing processes.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Experience in preparing Comparative Statements, Purchase Orders, and MIS reports.
Good knowledge of electrical materials, substation equipment, and transmission line materials.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/purchase software.
Valuable communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant qualification.

Experience
2–5 years of experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in EPC, Substation, or Transmission Line projects.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
