Job Description – Accountant (Tours & Travels)

Department: Accounts & Finance
Qualification: B.Com or equivalent
Experience: 5–8 years, preferably in the Tours & Travels industry
Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and journal entries.
Handle customer receipts, vendor payments, and outstanding balances.
Verify invoices related to flight bookings, hotel reservations, tour packages, and transportation.
Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
Maintain records of travel expenses, refunds, and cancellations.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance.
Prepare daily cash reports and monthly financial statements.
Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for accounting-related matters.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Positive numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
