JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN

Department: Fire Fighting & Plumbing

Job Responsibilities
Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire fighting and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Prepare layouts, shop drawings, working drawings, sections, and detailed drawings as per project requirements.
Assist in preparing fire fighting system layouts, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and fire piping.
Prepare plumbing layouts for water supply, drainage, soil, waste, and rainwater systems.
Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and other MEP services to avoid clashes.
Revise drawings as per engineer instructions, site requirements, and client comments.
Incorporate site changes and maintain updated drawings.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and material quantity details wherever required.
Coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Engineers for drawing clarifications and execution support.

Educational Qualification




Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Draftsman (Mechanical)
Candidates with basic mechanical engineering knowledge and an interest in fire fighting and plumbing systems are preferred.

Required Skills
Basic to positive working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, piping layouts, dimensions, and symbols.
Knowledge of fire fighting and plumbing drawings will be an added advantage.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Valuable attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of MS Office is preferred.

Experience
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience may apply.
Candidates with experience in MEP, fire fighting, plumbing, or mechanical drafting will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
