An accountant manages financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports business decision-making through accurate reporting.

Core Responsibilities
Daily Bookkeeping: Record daily sales, cash collections, UPI/card payments, and purchase vouchers.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track supplier invoices, transparent vendor payments, monitor customer outstanding balances, and follow up on collections.
Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly cash, bank, UPI, and inventory-to-stock reconciliations.
Inventory & Margin Tracking: Monitor stock ageing, physical stock verification, purchase margins, and product-wise profitability.
Statutory Compliance: Handle GST returns, TDS deductions, and coordinate with auditors for periodic filings.
Financial Reporting: Prepare daily sales reports, profit-and-loss statements, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) summaries for store owners.
