We are seeking an experienced Compression Molding Operator to handle SMC/DMC part production on our compression molding presses. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with thermoset moulding processes and a solid understanding of material handling, mould setup, and process parameters.

Key Responsibilities
Operate compression molding presses for SMC/DMC components as per production schedule
Handle charge preparation and placement (SMC sheet/DMC bulk material) into mould cavities
Set and monitor process parameters — mould temperature, pressure, and cure time — for consistent part quality
Perform mould loading/unloading and basic mould maintenance/cleaning
Inspect moulded parts for visual and dimensional defects (flash, voids, blisters, short shots)
Coordinate with the QC team on rejection analysis and corrective actions
Maintain production logs and report machine/process issues promptly




Follow safety protocols while handling hot moulds and press machinery

Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in compression molding, preferably with SMC/DMC or other thermoset materials
Working knowledge of press operations, mould setup, and curing cycles
Ability to read basic process sheets/work instructions
Attention to detail for identifying moulding defects
ITI/Diploma in relevant trade preferred, but relevant shop-floor experience will be given priority
Willingness to work in shifts as per production needs

Preferred
Prior experience in an electrical/electronic component manufacturing setting
Familiarity with basic mould troubleshooting

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
