Job Description – BIM Coordinator / Design Coordinator
Industry: Data Centre
Location: Mumbai (30 MW and 80 MW Data Center Projects)
Position: BIM Coordinator / Design Coordinator

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Relevant certifications in BIM/Revit will be an added advantage

Experience
Minimum 10+ Years of experience
Must have experience in Data Centre and/or MEP Projects
Robust exposure to BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design management

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate BIM models across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Civil disciplines.
Ensure clash detection and resolution through BIM tools.
Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Monitor design deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Review drawings, layouts, and design documents for compliance with project requirements.
Lead design coordination meetings and track action items.
Support project teams in BIM implementation and best practices.




Maintain model accuracy and ensure proper document control procedures.
Coordinate design changes and update models accordingly.
Prepare project reports and status updates for management.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of BIM Coordination
Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit
Experience in Navisworks and clash detection
Understanding of MEP Systems and Data Centre Infrastructure
Design Management & Stakeholder Coordination
Drawing Review & Technical Documentation
Positive communication and leadership skills
Project coordination and reporting expertise

Mandatory Requirements
10+ years of overall experience
Must be from Data Centre / MEP background
Prior experience as BIM Coordinator or Design Coordinator
Candidate should possess a Laptop
Exposure to large-scale Data Centre projects preferred
