Department: Electrical Maintenance - Plastic Moulding

Unit Name / Location: Kusauto India Private Limited, Chennai.

Job Description:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of shop-floor electrical equipment and production machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCC panels, PLC systems, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and circuit breakers.
Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and minimize machine downtime.
Maintain electrical systems, wiring, cable trays, lighting, and power distribution panels.
Inspect and maintain electrical motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other production equipment.
Support PLC-based automation systems and identify electrical control circuit faults.
Carry out routine inspections of electrical panels, connections, earthing, and safety devices.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.




Follow electrical safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work requirements, and PPE usage.
Identify recurring electrical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain electrical spare parts inventory and ensure proper use of tools and testing instruments.
Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, 5S, and applicable electrical safety regulations.
Prepare breakdown reports, maintenance checklists, and daily maintenance activity reports.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma (EEE) / B E (EEE) required
2–3 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance within the plastic Moulding Industry

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
