JOB DESCRIPTION – Sr. Purchase Executive

Experience: 2-5yrs.in any Industry.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Sr.Purchase Executive to support procurement operations in a battery manufacturing setup. The role involves sourcing raw materials, vendor management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

· procurement of raw materials such as chemicals, metals, components, and packaging materials.

· Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors; maintain solid supplier relationships.

· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency.

· Generate purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery.

· Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams for material requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

· Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.





· Handle vendor performance evaluation and issue resolution.

· Purchase order creation and tracking orders and ensure timely material availability.

Key Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Commerce/Business preferred).

· 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement in any industry.

· Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Tally or similar).

· Valuable communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

· Robust attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

· Exposure to inventory coordination and invoice processing.

· Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

· Basic negotiation and cost analysis skills.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industry is plus.
. Exposure to sourcing chemicals/metals is an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
