Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Mess Manager to manage food and catering operations for employees at our construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in mess management, food quality control, staff supervision, inventory management, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily mess operations and ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
Plan weekly and monthly menus based on employee requirements and budget.
Supervise cooks, kitchen helpers, housekeeping staff, and other mess personnel.
Maintain food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Monitor food stock, kitchen supplies, purchasing, and inventory control.
Control food costs, minimize wastage, and maintain proper expense records.
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and secure handling of food items.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement of provisions.
Monitor staff attendance, work schedules,



and overall performance.
Handle employee feedback and resolve food-related complaints promptly.
Conduct regular inspections of mess facilities at construction sites.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable food safety requirements.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of mess and catering management.
Experience in bulk cooking operations and institutional catering.
Good skills in staff management, menu planning, and cost control.
Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and inventory management.
Robust communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple site mess operations efficiently.

Additional Requirement

Candidates must be willing to travel to construction project sites as and when required by the company.
