Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accountant role based in Murshidabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries in accounting software, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking receivables and payables, assisting with cash flow monitoring, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, assisting with tax and compliance documentation, and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.



The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial insights that support decision-making and help maintain internal controls.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting or ERP software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and strong skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
Knowledge of local tax regulations, GST, and compliance requirements, with the ability to prepare and maintain supporting documentation.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with management and other team members.
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, especially in a small or medium-sized business setting.
