Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales Professional role based in Kolkata. The Sales Professional will engage with prospective clients, respond to inquiries, and conduct meetings to understand wedding requirements and present suitable service packages. Daily responsibilities include following up on leads, preparing proposals and quotations, maintaining accurate records in CRM or internal systems, and coordinating with the operations and event planning teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with venues and partner vendors, participating in promotional activities, and meeting individual and team sales targets.



The Sales Professional will represent Weddings Bell at client meetings and events, maintaining a qualified, customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in sales, client engagement, and relationship management, preferably in events, hospitality, or related services.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain service offerings clearly and negotiate terms confidently.
Comfort working in an in office environment in Kolkata, with flexibility to meet clients’ schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and event timelines simultaneously.
Basic proficiency with office software, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms to manage pipelines and documentation.
Customer-focused mindset, professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in wedding planning, event management, or hospitality sales is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
