Junior PowerBI developer

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports, Paginated reports, and dashboards based on business requirements.
Gather, analyze, and translatebusiness needs into technical specifications and data models.
Create calculated columns andmeasures using DAX.
Use Power Query to extract,transform, and load data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloudsources).
Implement and manage row‑levelsecurity (RLS) and follow governance standards for data access and security.
Ensure data quality, consistency,and accuracy through validation, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with data engineers,analysts,



and business users to align BI solutions with business goals.
Publish and manage content in PowerBI Service, including workspaces, apps, dataflows, and refresh schedules.
Provide support, and best‑practiceguidance to self‑service Power BI users.
Create flows/schedules in PowerAutomate

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master's degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or relatedfield (or equivalent experience).
Hands‑on experience 2+ yearsbuilding reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Strong proficiency in DAX forbuilding calculated measures.
Solid experience with Power Query/Mand data transformation techniques.
Good understanding of relationaldatabases, SQL querying, and data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, starschema).
Understanding of data governance,security, and compliance concepts.
Robust analytical, problem‑solving,and communication skills.
Ability to work closely withbusiness stakeholders, gather requirements, and convert them into technicaldesigns.
