An Ideal Candidate:

Lead Electrical Engineer - Substation Design oversees the complete technical design, engineering analysis, and multidisciplinary coordination for High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) Air Insulated (AIS) and Gas Insulated (GIS) substations up to 400kV or higher.

Key Competencies:
Substation Design & Engineering: Lead front-end, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for AIS and GIS substations (up to 400kV).
Diagrams & Layouts: Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Three-Line Diagrams,



general arrangement drawings, elevation views, protection/control schematics, and cabling layouts.
Electrical Calculations: Perform and verify critical design calculations including earthing/earthmat systems, lightning protection, CT/PT sizing, battery and battery charger sizing, auxiliary transformers, UPS, and short-circuit/load-flow studies.
Protection & Control (P&C;): Design and review relay setting calculations, control and relay panels (CRP), Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), and Substation Automation Systems (SAS/SCADA).
Vendor & Material Management: Finalize Bill of Materials (BOM), review vendor/manufacturer drawings, and evaluate technical datasheets and equipment requisitions.
Multidisciplinary Coordination: Interface with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Transmission, and Commissioning teams to ensure secure, constructible, and grid-code-compliant designs.
Standards Compliance: Ensure alignment with national and international codes (such as IS, IEC, IEEE, or local utility standards)
