Role- AGM Legal

Experience: 8–12 Years (post-qualification)

Location: Bangalore

Role: AGM/DGM – Legal (Head of Legal & Company Secretarial)
Senior in-house Legal leader who has headed or co-led the Legal function, not only worked as an individual contributor.
LLB / LLM from a top 10 law school in India. This is mandatory.
Background preferably in a leading technology, SaaS, consumer internet or high-growth organisation.
Strong, hands-on experience across commercial contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, litigation and corporate governance.
Should have handled strategic transactions and day-to-day business advisory with a commercially minded, business-enabling approach, not only a risk-averse one.
Should have managed an IP portfolio and overseen litigation, disputes and external counsel.
Positive working knowledge of data privacy, including the DPDP framework.



Should be able to lead DPDP compliance and privacy advisory across the organisation.
Experience building a legal and regulatory risk framework (identify, assess, mitigate), including labour law and employment-related compliance.
Should be able to lead or oversee the Company Secretarial function: Board and shareholder matters, statutory compliances and governance.
Proven team leadership: has managed a team (team size is 4–6) and driven process improvement, standardisation and use of legal tech.
Solid executive presence, commercial judgement, communication and negotiation skills; comfortable partnering with senior management and business heads.
Valuable to have: exposure to fintech / financial services regulations, and handling legal and regulatory matters across multiple international jurisdictions.
